I don't think Laura could have known exactly how special and important she was to so many people around the world. She was such a caring and kind-hearted soul, and so intelligent and mature too. I was diagnosed with Adult Onset Still's Disease 7 years ago at the age of 21, but never really came to terms with it until I connected with Laura through her blog in 2011. She literally provided me with the strength and confidence I needed to face my illness and to accept and live my life with chronic disease. I would be proud if I could do the same for someone else. I am unbelievably sad that she has passed away so young, she had so much more to give and so many dreams. Laura clearly had a real love for life and it was obvious that she genuinely appreciated every single moment she had. I will think of her always, and pray for her family and fiancé.
